Participation fees
There is a fee for participation in the event. The fees are to be paid in advance. 
Any bank charges will be borne by the party liable to pay.

Cancellation of conference participation
Cancellation conditions (deadlines and costs) are described on the specific event website. Cancellation of participation up to a deadline specified there is refundable with reimbursement of the participation fee minus a processing fee. Cancellations after the specified date will not be refunded. A substitute participant can be nominated. Cancellations must be made in writing.

Program changes
The organizer reserves the right to change the program at short notice. For cancelled lectures or changes in the program no proportional refund of participation fees will be made.

Liability
The organizer is liable within the scope of due diligence according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its liability - regardless of the legal grounds - is limited to cases of gross negligence and intentional misconduct. However, this does not affect the liability of the congress organizer and persons or organizations providing passenger transportation or other services. Verbal agreements are considered null and void if they are not confirmed in writing by the organizer.

Place of performance, place of jurisdiction
Place of performance is Lübeck, place of jurisdiction for all parties is Lübeck. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
